Dun It Strait Delta - 2016 APHA bay tobiano mare

We purchased Gemma in June of 2023, and she arrive at the ranch in July. Gemma is a daughter of NRHA money earner Dun It Strait (Hollywood Dun It x dtr of Strait From Texas). In fact, per Equistat reports, Dun It Strait is the highest money earning tobiano son of Hollywood Dun It! We have been fans of her sire for several years and had considered breeding a mare to him in the past.

Gemma’s dam is Deltas Spicy Diamonds, dam of NRCHA money earner and APHA Champion reined cow horse Spooks Delta Dude. Spooks Delta Dude is currently the Equistat #1 APHA reined cow horse sire. Deltas Spicy Diamonds was destined for the show pen too but was injured her first year into training. She only had two foals in her lifetime, making Gemma the only maternal sibling to Spooks Delta Dude, and the only mare out Deltas Spicy Diamonds. Perhaps the most notable thing about Gemma’s bottom side is that every single horse in her 4-generation pedigree is a NCHA money earner, a producer or both!

Gemma stands 13.3 - 14 hands and has a nice thick build.
