"Firefly" is our first AQHA/APHA dual registered foal, and she was sure worth the wait! We carefully and painstakingly shopped for the perfect stallion to cross our mare to. We selected this cross based on conformation, as well as performance record. This stunning sorrel filly is everything we hoped for when we bred our mare to Snapdragons. Firefly's DNA has been sent in, and her health panel results are pending testing. 

Snapdragons (Gunnatrashya x Catnaps) has earnings in excess of $282k and is still competing! He was the 2020 NRCHA Open Futurity Co-Reserve Champion, 2021 NRCHA Celebration of Champions Open Derby Champion and 2026 NRCHA Stallion Stakes Open Bridle Champion. Snapdragons has also qualified multiple times for NRCHA Stallion Stakes Run For A Million!

Paired with our cowy mare Smart Kitty Cuttin (Kit Dual x dtr of Peponitas Acre), a money earning sorting horse, we hope to produce a stellar reined cow horse prospect with a modern pedigree. 

Smart Kitty Cuttin is our oldest mare, and with her previous foals being placed in show homes, it is likely that she will be a producer soon.

Firefly is eligible for many incentives, including the NRCHA Cowhorse Incentive and NRCHA Stallion Stakes.

Smart Kitty Cuttin is one of our best mares. Paired with Snapdragons, we expect Firefly to be a phenomenal reined cow horse prospect. We plan to retain this filly for our program as a performance prospect, and a replacement for her dam. Smart Kitty Cuttin is our oldest mare, and Firefly is the only filly we've had from her. Being dual registered certainly doesn't hurt, but we would consider selling this filly.
